Look of the Day: Orange Accents

I found this cashmere jacket at a vintage store in Barcelona and was admiring it ever since, not actually knowing what to wear it with.So it was peacefully hanging in my closet up until yesterday when I remembered I have orange shoes that will go perfect with it. What do you think?

I'm wearing:

Jacket - vintage
Tank and pants - Pull&Bear
Heels - Zara
Bag - Oasap
Necklace - Ziba Collection

Have a great week, everyone!

You may remember that a few weeks ago Emil and I had the pleasure of attending the Directives West Fall 2012 Fashion show in Downtown LA, see post HERE. The show featured a few wonderful LA and Australian brands, including Bless'ed Are the Meek, Bishop of Seventh, Chaser, Heartloom, J. Leyendecker, Joe's, Marna Ro, Sam&Lavi and W By Walter Mendez.

Well, this time Emil and I had a chance to style a few outfits, incorporating SS2012 pieces from our favorite designers showcased at the Directives West fashion show. Normally, we don't shoot in downtown LA, so it was totally cool exploring new territory. I wanted to create outfits with edgy-boho feel, so industrial-looking downtown landscapes certainly worked to our advantage!

With so many beautiful pieces, it's hard to pick a favorite. How about you guys, which outfit do you like the most?

Keep on smiling,

Romance in the Forest

I couldn't wait to wear this dress! I waited for these earrings to arrive from True Vintage (check out the site, it's filled with gorgeous stuff and also you can find them at the V for Vintage fair next Saturday) I wore my dress with them, I thought they went perfect together; I wanted to create a romantic and yet a girlie fresh look, so I chose not to wear heels, instead my new pair of flats; and I was not too fancy, but perfect for a walk in the evening with a special someone. tcu8 tcu6 tcu4 tcu7 tcu tcu3 tcu2

Spring Scarfs

Wrapping up my stripe obsession week with a stripey scarf.

Pair a long necklace with your scarf to incorporate a pop of color. Make sure and wrap up the ends  of your scarf into the loop so it looks like an infinity scarf. If you have the ends hanging out it can hide the necklace or distract from the statement piece.

Shirt: H&M
Denim: AG Jeans
Loafers: ALDO

My Asos Sale Scores

Being the online shopping addict that I am, I just could walk pass the Asos mid-season sale. I have to confess I'm browsing online stores virtually everyday in search for something fresh, but Asos is by far my most favorite shopping destination, its clothes are always affordable and it always keeps up with the latest trends (let's face it, not many online stores out there are so trend-oriented). I've collected a lot of great deals, some of this stuff I already ordered and some I'm still thinking about, anyways, if you like anything, hurry up cause the stock won't last too long.

P. S. You can also get 15% off everything (even the sale stuff) by entering the EXTRA15 code at the checkout (valid until May 1).

Blue painted rain..

Not much of a fancy outfit today. I felt bored and uninspired; sometimes I get this feeling in certain days when fashion does not excite me. The weather was chilly and it seemed it was about to rain so my plan to wear a cute dress was ruined. So I wore something blue, put my new shoes on and a bling-bling around my neck to feel interesting and there I go. Today I couldn't help myself and I bought something way too delicious, I can't wait to show you! (which means - I can't wait to brag). I also indulged myself with three huge bouquets of lilac - my favorite flower, so naturally I wanted to share with you their beauty. So little time until my birthday, I am freaking out!

(Equipment signature mint blouse - cute ones here & here, Nanette Lepore sweet sixteen sequined clutch bagAsos spike stretch bracelet, also loving this one, J Crew friendship bracelets)

Another one of my happy, twirly outfits. I simply can't help it, it is just not humanly possible to wear this skirt and not twirl and smile and dance and laugh. Granted I did get some looks from people passing by, yet I hardly care when the sun is shining, the birds are singing and I am wearing a neon orange, pleated master piece of a skirt.

P.S. Last week I mentioned that I partnered up with Threadflip, an online retailer which allows you to sell items from your closet. This week, I added a few new items, so CLICK HERE to check them out! Please feel free to shoot me an email if you have questions about any of the items:)
