Enjoy San Diego's Restaurant Week like an aficionado by formulating a plan. Over 180 Restaurants will offer their fine dining experience at a fraction of the cost. Getting the best of both worlds by trying new restaurants with Zagat rave reviews & saving a little MOOLAH!

Its that time of year again where Restaurant Week will take over and spotlight the diverse and dynamic bar and restaurant offerings of San Diego. Did you know that Restaurant Week was introduced in New York in 1992 by Tim Zagat and Joe Baum? Now 20+ years later it has become a tradition in cities across the U.S. appealing to both customers and restaurants delivering the ultimate win-win.

5 Tips to Enjoy San Diego Restaurant Week

  1. Devise a Plan - Looking to enjoy more than one dining experience during Restaurant week? Check out all of the participating Restaurants at SanDiegoRestaurantWeek.com. You can use the brown bar at the bottom of  your screen to search by Cuisine, Neighborhood, Restaurant and Price.
  2. Make Reservations - Don't get turned away at the door! All sorts of foodies come out of the wood works during restaurant week, some restaurants are booked solid, be sure to make reservations to get into the places you want to taste most.
  3. Share - Its always fun to head out with a group of friends, the more the merrier! Order different items and split entrees to get a taste of everything on the menu.
  4. Weekday Dining - Help avoid the likeliness of a restaurant being booked by attending a weekday lunch or dinner.
  5. Try Some New Dishes and a Restaurant you have never been to before. I know its easy to go with what's familiar but try to step outside of your comfort zone and try something you have never had before.
