Development in Fashion with Fashion Design Council of India


Indian fashion industry has revived with Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) which is a non-profit organization. It has been serving and boosting fashion in India since its foundation in 1998. Its office is based in Gurgaon, Haryana. FDCI is defended by Indian Textile Ministry and it works with popular fashion institutes such as NIFT.



Charitable Ventures 

Every year FDCI comes up with mega-designer sale, where designer garments can be found at huge discounts. Many buyers wait for this sale and purchase branded garments within their budget and save their money. Around 5% of total sale goes to charities and relief funds.

Fashion Design Council of India searches for best talent in the country and promotes their innovations. It helps the country’s fashion industry and boosts its productive, demand and supply. It promotes fashion and its related businesses.

FDCI is one of the prominent bodies of fashion industry involved in various activities and works with government and several ministries. International trade is facilitated and promoted at fashion weeks by FDCI with the help of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. FDCI regularly organises events to support fashion in India and promotes Indian fashion items in international market.
